Simplified Game – Strategic Cards
Simple and straightforward. Each house has a strategic tip and a crucial task for your business. Perform the tasks and gain business experience.
Objective
The game will be won by the entrepreneur who obtains the best set of results, i.e. the highest final score. It’s no use making the biggest profit. It must have a balance between its actions to obtain resources for the boards and the working capital on hand.
Entrepreneurs Players
They can play from 2 to 6 managers.
Each manager chooses a character and positions them at the “Start of the Match”.
Each businessman receives 5 $5 bills, 5 $10 bills, 5 $50 bills, 5 $100 bills and 2 $200 bills.
The other notes are in the
Bank
.
Choose an entrepreneur to be the banker in charge of controlling the outflows and inflows of money in the
Bank
.
Getting started in business
Andthey choose a player to start with, the other businessmen playing go clockwise.
The businessman throws both dice and moves his character to the house. On each square, the player can choose between two options: receive the money that is written down or buy a resource for their board.
If you decide to receive the money, the
Bank
must pay the entrepreneur.
If you want to buy a resource for your board, you have to pay the amount to the
Bank
and receive a resource (totem) from the
Market
which should be on top of the area with the same name on the entrepreneur’s individual board.
Next, the entrepreneur should take the Strategic Charter, which is at the top of the area associated with the board, and read out the strategic tip to the other entrepreneurs. If there is a task in the letter, you must fulfill it or pay $10.00 to the
Bank
.
Every Strategic Charter has 3 “necessary resources” for its execution, associated with 3 directorates. If the entrepreneur has the resource in his company (individual board), he doesn’t have to pay for the service. If the entrepreneur doesn’t have the funds, he can pay the
Bank
or they can pay an entrepreneur who does have the funds.
At the bottom of each Strategy Card there is a board symbol and a positive or negative value. If the amount is positive, you should receive
University
the number of knowledge coins acquired. If the amount is negative, you must return it to the
University
the number of coins described.
New company cycle
New year, new life.
Each time the entrepreneur passes the “Start of the Match” he will receive a bonus of $200.00 from the
Bank
.
Lack of money to invest or sustain the business
Every entrepreneur’s sorrow is to run out of money.
If the entrepreneur needs money to pay off a debt or buy a resource, he can trade one of his resources with the other entrepreneurs or with the
Bank
. Remember that the minimum value cannot be less than 50% of the value described on the central board and the maximum value cannot be equal to or greater than the value described on the central board.
Company bankruptcy
There are times when we can’t go on any longer.
Either you’ve reached financial independence and want to go and enjoy life, or you’re looking for a new niche to undertake, or you’ve come to the conclusion that undertaking isn’t your thing.
If the entrepreneur wants to leave the game, his or her acquired resources can be auctioned off to other entrepreneurs. If no entrepreneur is interested in buying, the funds go back to the
Market
.
The company’s money goes straight to the
Bank
.
Game over
The end of the game is when there is only one company in the market, i.e. the other entrepreneurs have given up on the game and only one has persevered, dominating the entire market, or when the entrepreneurs decide to end the game.
If the decision to end the game is made by mutual agreement between the business owners, the game will be won by whoever has the highest score, as described below:
- You get a point:
- The entrepreneur with the most working capital on hand. Receive 3 points.
- For each resource acquired in a specialty within a directorate. Receive 1 point.
- If the entrepreneur has resources in all the specialties of a board, he or she earns the certificate of SPECIALIST. Receive 2 points.
- If the entrepreneur has resources in all the specialties of all the directorates, they win the BEST MANAGER OF THE YEAR certificate. Receive 5 points.
- The entrepreneur who has the most coins, adding up all the directorships, will receive the MBA IN BUSINESS AND MARKET MANAGEMENT diploma, as they have mastered the management areas. Receive 5 points.
- The entrepreneur with the best overall score will receive the title of HIGHLIGHTED ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR, feature articles in various national and international magazines, as well as an initial investment of $100.00 in the next round of the game.
- Lose a point:
- The company must have good resources in all directorates. At the end of the match, if the entrepreneur does not have at least one resource on each board, they lose 1 point per board without a resource.
Ah! Watch out for your strategic planning and action plans!
Some decisions may benefit your competitor more than your business!
Game – Super Manager
It all starts with Strategic Planning and your company must prioritize the achievement of strategic objectives and result indicators.
Objective
The game will be won by the entrepreneur with the best set of results.
It’s no use having the biggest profit. There must be a balance between:
- Actions to obtain resources for the company in the various directorates;
- Working capital in your hand;
- Higher percentage of achievement of indicators (KR – Key Results).
In the Super Manager version, everything starts with the distribution of the “Strategic Planning Cards”.
Each entrepreneur draws up a “Strategic Planning Charter”, defines their company’s business niche, thinks about the company’s mission and vision for the coming years.
Entrepreneurs will have a maximum of 2 minutes to define the business scenario and create a pitch about their business.
Use the 2-minute hourglass to keep track of time!
After this time, each entrepreneur will have up to 1 minute to talk about their business.
Use the 1-minute hourglass to control the pitch time!
After drawing up a “Strategic Charter”, if it is aligned with their strategic planning, the entrepreneur will be able to create an action to advance one of their KRs.
The other entrepreneurs will tell you whether:
- a) He didn’t answer and stays where he is.
- b) Partially met and advances one KR
- c) Fully answered and goes to the last box.
If the entrepreneur forgets to align the actions on the card with his OKR(Objectives and Key Results), and passes the turn, he won’t be able to use it until he withdraws it again.
An entrepreneur can carry out a “master strategy” and go straight from the 1st to the last square, depending on the type of KR written in the OKR or depending on the action carried out, and the approval of the other entrepreneurs.
